The Best and Worst of Days of our Lives for September 9-13

Days of our Lives brought the drama the week of September 9-13 Some moments were hits, some were misses, and Soap Talks has the rundown on what worked and what didn’t in Salem this past week.

Best of DAYS

Holly finally knows that Eric, the man she thought of as a father, is the person who killed her real father in a drunk driving accident. DAYS relied on history for this emotional tale that will change Holly’s life forever.

Sure, the way Rafe woke was weird as Paulina ordered him to do so, but it was about time Rafe came out of that coma and reunited with his loved ones. We can ignore the special powers Paulina supposedly has just so this story can move along.

Unlike others in Salem, Sarah is determined not to take things at face value when it comes to Brady’s confession. There’s something about that figure she saw behind the wheel and her dogged determination to get to the truth is better than Xander’s quest for revenge.

Worst of DAYS

Connie Viniskie and her crazy will never fail to be a bad story. Melinda still looks abfab with impeccable makeup and hair after being tied to a bed for weeks. Even with Stephanie and Jada becoming suspicious, this story still ups the unbelievable factor every time it airs.

Sophia’s anger and aggression toward Holly make very little sense considering they grew up together and were best friends until very recently. This Jan Spears retelling is falling flat, so hopefully, DAYS ends it quickly.

Chad’s blind trust that this woman who is absolutely nothing like Abby is really Abby just makes the character look dumb. There have been multiple red flags, as well as suspicions from others, but still, Chad won’t budge in his belief that his wife is back.

Don’t forget to watch new episodes of Days of our Lives on Peacock starting at 6 AM ET each weekday.
