The Best and Worst of General Hospital for September 30-October 7

General Hospital brought the drama the week of September 30-October 7, 2024. Some moments were hits, some were misses, and Soap Talks has the rundown on what worked and what didn’t in Port Charles this past week.

Best of GH

When Aiden came out to Lucky, you could feel both characters’ love and pain. Lucky was shocked but understanding and Aiden was earnest and relatable. The scenes truly tugged at the heartstrings but the goodwill did not last long.

Carly has chemistry with Brennan. That cannot be denied. We want to see more of what we saw this week. Brennan is ready to sweep Carly off her feet and she is definitely intrigued, but will Sonny get in the way of a new beginning for Carly?

It’s been such a pleasure to have seen so much Elizabeth over the last few weeks, including this past week. She is no longer isolated and being used in stories the way she should be and that’s a good thing.

Worst of GH

Lucky had great scenes with Aiden, but quickly blew it when he learned he couldn’t be the hero that would save his sister’s life. His tantrum at Bobbie’s was typical Lucky and everything we have always disliked about this man-child character.

Will Jason please stop sacrificing himself and his children for Carly and Sonny when they would never do the same for him? After all, his son is going to need him more than ever soon.

Sam is going to be Lulu’s liver donor. We can just feel it as all the anvils are there. And that is just wrong in every single way. When Dante assured Rocco that they would find another donor and the camera panned to Sam, we knew what was coming.

Don’t forget to watch new episodes of General Hospital each weekday on ABC and weeknight on Hulu.
