General Hospital’s Lulu is back among the living and in for quite a big surprise on Monday — as are the residents of Port Charles when they absorb the fact that Lulu emerged from her coma and walked out of the hospital as if no time had passed.
Time Stopped For Lulu Spencer
For Lulu (Alexa Havins), it feels like no time has passed. She entered her coma on November 20, 2020, and came out of it the same day four years later. When she asked Cody (Josh Kelly) the date and he told her November 26, she assumed she had been hospitalized for about six days but she had no idea what she was hospitalized for.
Seeing a strange little boy in her living room and then seeing her own little boy had grown into a teenager was enough of a shock for Lulu. But, she’s heard nothing yet. On Monday, she will learn what year it is and just why Rocco (Finn Carr) looks so big, but that’s not all.
Catching Up On Port Charles Life
First, Lulu will surely learn she just had a liver transplant and that her new liver is courtesy of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), a woman who was a surrogate mother to her son because Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) fell in love with her. But Sam is now dead and Lulu woke the day that Sam was buried.
Surely, Lulu will wonder where her daughter is. Sadly, she will learn that Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) is on the run with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), and could be in danger. She will also get the sad news that her father died. Neither Lulu nor Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) were even there for Luke’s (Anthony Geary) memorial.
Lulu will eventually meet her new nephew, Ace, and learn that her other nephew, Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is dead and her other brother, Nikolas (Adam Huss), is in jail. Uh-oh.
And who is that living in Lulu’s house? Why it’s her old friend, Maxie (Kirsten Storms), and her THREE children. Yes, Maxie has a full house and is even back together with Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).
Finally, Lulu will learn that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) wasn’t just fooling the Turning Woods staff when he said he was her uncle. He really is her uncle, along with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight). This all may be mind-boggling for Lulu, but when you miss for years of life, anything can happen.
