Brook Lynn & Det. Chase May Be Inviting More Trouble Than Guests To Their Wedding

The impending nuptials of Brook Lynn and Det. Chase may be stirring up more troubles than the number of invited guests thanks to some new arrivals to Port Charles, potential new romantic pairings and so much old turmoil coming to the surface. The couple has already changed venues and scope of the wedding to accommodate Det. Chase’s ailing father, Prof. Chase. Will there ever be a good time and place to make this wedding happen?

With Lois working overtime as momzilla to make everything perfect for the wedding, what could go wrong? 

Prof. Chase tried to relay some information to Lois about Alexis not attending the wedding after all, however, Lois has never been one to let anyone get a word in edgewise so she misses the message and rushes off to rescue Brook Lynn. Prof. Chase is left alone and confused, however Tracy picks up the slack and entertains him. And is there a spark? 

Now that Tracy is looking for outside interests and new connections to boost her spirits, the potentially newly single future father-in-law of Brook Lynn may be rather appealing. However, is it a true spark or mere sport for Tracy? After Alexis left Ned jilted decades ago, there’s no love lost between Alexis and Tracy, so stealing the handsome and endearing professor away from Alexis would be just the kind of revenge Tracy enjoys and probably needs. Will Prof. Chase be the cure for Tracy’s depression or just collateral damage in another Tracy scheme?

Deception is on the verge of tanking during a television appearance on H & H due to Lucy being Lucy. Thanks to an emergency appearance from Sasha the show is rescued and Lucy is saved from drowning, although she appears to be stuck in reliving the 90s. What is going on with her? Will she ever let up on talking about Nurses Ball and get back to work? 

Once again, Lois and Brooklynn prove that they make the perfect mother-daughter crisis management team. However, when Lois swept Sasha away she was in the middle of Cody-time at the Quartermaine stables. He seems quite cozy with the new set-up and hopes Sasha will find a real world job and purpose, but seeing her dash off to save Deception appears to leave him troubled. It’s looking like fans may be waiting a long time to see this love blossom. Will the troubled Cody realize he may lose Sasha and finally come to his senses let her know how he feels before she gets swept back in her old job? 

News has been released that Brook Lynn’s grandfather Carmine Cerullo (George Russo) is swooping into Port Charles, sometime in May… Could this be a clue for the timeline for when Brook Lynn and Det. Chase finally get hitched, or may attempt to get  hitched? And, why is Carmine coming to town? To give his blessing to the wedding? This random arrival cannot be good news for the betrothed. 

How will Lois react to this arrival? The controlled chaos she embodies may go off the rails, especially if she feels her baby girl is in danger. However, if Tracy is up to no-good with Prof. Chase for the sake of hurting Alexis, Lois and Tracy may have something new to bond over…
