DAYS Recap, June 10: Wedding Mayhem Claims Konstantin

On the June 10 episode of Days of our Lives, everything went haywire at Maggie and Konstantin’s wedding.

Konstantin’s Latest Bombshell

The Kiriakis clan and their loved ones could barely believe their ears when Konstantin (John Kapelos) announced that he sabotaged Victor’s (John Aniston) plane. Victor had promised to leave Kon an inheritance to make up for the past, so Kon sped up his death only to learn that Victor stiffed him.

When Steve (Stephen Nichols) accused Kon of having someone kidnap Victoria, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) and Xander (Paul Telfer) demanded to know who it was but Theresa (Emily O’Brien) didn’t think it was important at this point. Soon, Maggie passed out so Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Bonnie (Judi Evans) took her upstairs.

Maggie’s Shame

When Maggie came to, she was outraged and blamed herself for everything. She fell for all of Kon’s lies and when she learned of some of them, she even forgave him and was willing to marry him just so he could stay in the country.

Sarah and Bonnie tried making Maggie feel better, but she nearly passed out again when they heard shots ringing out downstairs.

Steve’s Fate, Justin’s Worry

As John (Drake Hogestyn) and Steve tried to stop Konstantin, he faked a coughing fit and got a hold of a gun. After some more mass confusion, Kon shot Steve and then grabbed Theresa before absconding out the back door. Steve was in bad shape but Xander got Dr. Sarah downstairs to help him.

Upstairs, Justin (Wally Kurth) and Bonnie went over the days’ happenings in disbelief and worried what could go wrong next.

Kon’s Last Words

Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) caught up with Konstantin outside as he held a gun to Theresa’s neck. He decided to go for broke and told Alex that Victor wasn’t his father. He didn’t say much more because Xander arrived with a gun and demanded to know who snatched his baby daughter. Just then, Theresa elbowed Konstantin, but he wrestled her to the ground.

Finally, Xander took a shot. As Konstantin died, he had some final last words and told the men that an enemy was still in their midst. Theresa hoped they’d never figure out that enemy was her.
