DAYS Recap, June 11: Chaotic Fallout From Maggie’s Wedding

On the June 11 episode of Days of our Lives, Steve is rushed to the hospital and Xander is rushed to the police station.

Konstantin Is Dead

After checking his pulse, Brady (Eric Martsolf) declared that Konstantin (John Kapelos) was dead as the men wondered who the enemy was still among them. When Jada (Elia Cantu) heard the news, she arrived at the scene and heard Xander (Paul Telfer) claim he shot Konstantin in self-defense. He had killed Victor (John Aniston) and was going to kill Theresa (Emily O’Brien).

Brady and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) pointed out that Xander didn’t care one bit about Theresa’s safety when he shot. That was enough for Jada to haul Xander down to the police station where Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) met him. She believed in him and was going to get him out of there.

John Fears Himself

Back in the living room, Sarah tried stabilizing Steve (Stephen Nichols) and asked for John’s help but he was in a tarot card trance ready to kill Steve and himself. Thankfully, a phone call broke the trance.

When John (Drake Hogestyn) got home he explained to Marlena (Deirdre Hall) what happened. Clearly, the deprogramming didn’t work completely and John thought he was a ticking time bomb. He shocked Marlena when he announced his intention to leave town to keep his loved ones safe.

Alex Is Relieved

Alex was happy that Konstantin was gone and Theresa was safe. He was even happier that Victor didn’t die without leaving him half of his fortune. He might not have been there for him, but he did care enough to make him rich,

All Theresa could do was nod and worry that her secret will somehow come out even though Konstantin was now dead.

Kayla Wants Answers

When Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) heard that Steve had been shot, she rushed straight to the hospital and found him in fine spirits. He explained the whole mess with Konstantin, but Steve brushed it off.

Both Kayla and Stephanie (Abigail Klein) were just relieved that Steve was going to be ok but Kayla hated that he constantly puts himself in danger.

Marlena Has News

Before everyone learned what happened at the wedding, Stephanie met with Marlena and got an update on Everett (Blake Berris).

At the moment, it seemed like Everett was no more. The Bobby personality was now the dominant one and Stephanie feared that Everett might never return to her.
