DAYS Recap, June 12: Leo Is Desperate For Love

On the June 12 episode of Days of our Lives, Leo lamented his love life, Eric was ready for a divorce, and Johnny and Chanel got good news.

Leo Needs A Shrink

Leo (Greg Rikaart) was surprised and pleased when a shirtless man walked up to his table in Horton Square and asked to have a sip of his water after a run. Leo came onto him and asked him out but the man told him that he wasn’t gay. Leo immediately wondered if he was losing his touch so he ran to Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) office for help.

Marlena tried to get him to make an appointment but Leo was insistent. They spoke for a while and Leo admitted that he didn’t think he was lovable and brought up his mother as an example. She called him worthless the last time she saw him in prison. Marlena finally agreed to work with Leo on a regular basis.

Sad Sack Eric

Eric (Greg Vaughan) refused to turn that frown around as Mr. Misery brooded with Roman (Josh Taylor) over the Jude situation. He then paid a visit to EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) and asked him to be his divorce lawyer.

EJ tried to steer him in another direction, but finally agreed to do it. Eric wondered if they needed to find Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) first, but EJ told him they just needed to show the court that Eric did an exhaustive search and then they’d grant the divorce.

Johnny Makes A Confession

Chanel (Raven Bowens) started her day by learning the EJ was going after her mother’s mayoral position. She then headed to the hospital for her doctor’s appointment.

Johnny (Carson Boatman) was already there confessing to Marlena that he was offered a job in Los Angeles, but hadn’t yet told Chanel because he didn’t want to uproot her. Marlena finally convinced him to tell Chanel the truth.

That’s exactly what he tried to do at the doctor’s appointment, but then the doctor arrived and turned out to be the man Leo made a pass at. Dr. Mark Greene was also Felicity’s brother and became a doctor thanks to NBC’s ER.

Paulina’s Bad News

Paulina woke from a nightmare and told Abe it was recurring. She imagined the radiation turning her into a monster who ate the whole town of Salem. Abe wanted her to see Marlena before he got an interesting call.

A friend on the city council informed him that EJ was running a recall election against Paulina. Needless to say, they were both outraged.
