DAYS Recap, June 14: Stefan Learns The Truth About Jude

On the June 14 episode of Days of our Lives, Stefan stumbled upon some papers, Abe had a chat with EJ, Chanel delivered big news, and Chad gave Julie an update.

Stefan’s Big Find

Kristen announced to Stefan that the DiMera board met in private and made her CEO so she was no longer going to help him find evidence to free Gabi because she didn’t need him anymore. After some arguing, Stefan convinced Kristen to at least assist with his breakout plans. So, she told him that there were items and contacts in the safe that would help him live life on the run.

When Stefan opened the safe, he found a pile of cash he quickly grabbed, as well as a manilla envelope. He opened thinking it belonged to Kristen but it was really Jude’s DNA test results. Stefan now knew that EJ was not Jude’s father.

Abe Makes An Effort

When Paulina found that the recall website posted doctored photos of her looking radioactive, Ave took charge and met with EJ in Horton Square to tell him to lay off of his wife.

EJ admitted he was behind the campaign and promised this wasn’t about vengeance at all but Abe wasn’t buying it. Instead, he tried to use the fact that they were brother-in-laws to fix this but EJ refused to budge.

Chanel Has Big News

Chanel made Paulina very happy when she stopped by her apartment unannounced, but then told her she’d be moving to California and would open a Sweet Bits there. While Paulina was said to see her daughter go, she understood and was relieved that Chanel forgave her and the baby was all right.

Johnny filled Marlena in with the same news and she was glad he took her advice to be honest with Chanel about the job offer.

Chad And Julie Team Up

Chad (Billy Flynn) informed Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) that Clyde (James Read) told her he could get the information he needed about Abigail in a safe deposit box in Chicago. Julie talked Chad into letting her tag along on this fact-finding adventure.

Soon, Thomas (Cary Christopher) heard Chad talking about his mother being alive, so Julie had to cover. She told the little boy that Abigail was alive in their hearts and Thomas bought it.
