DAYS Recap, June 4: Ava Has Clyde Right Where She Wants Him

On the June 4 episode of Days of our Lives, Ava and Harris caught up with Clyde, Chad took off for Montana, Kate freaked out, and Xander relented.

Ava Got Answers

Ava (Tamara Braun) and Lucas (Bryan R. Dattilo) kept Goldman gagged until she screamed, so they gagged her again. However, Ava found her phone in Goldman’s car and brought up text messages from Clyde (James Read). He said they couldn’t be happy campers anymore and needed to take off. Then, Lucas remembered passing the Happy Camper campground while they were driving.

Ava took off for the campground while Lucas stayed with Goldman and Harris (Steve Burton) got the same Happy Camper information from Clyde’s drug dealer. When Ava found Clyde, she held a gun on him as he taunted her with the fact that he could control her from prison. Harris soon arrived to stop Ava from pulling the trigger.

Chad’s Quest

Back in Salem, Chad (Billy Flynn) demanded that Steve (Stephen Nichols) tell him where Ava and Harris took off to. He needed to find Clyde for his own peace and sanity after the man killed his wife and burned down the Horton House. Steve tried to calm Chad down but eventually had to tell him that Clyde was in Montana.

Chad immediately wanted to go so Steve tried talking him out of it to no avail. When Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) arrived home, she chastised Steve for wanting to put his life in danger again. She finally relented, but when Steve called Chad, he had already taken off for Montana on the DiMera private jet.

Worried Mother Kate

Kate (Lauren Koslow) was freaking out because she couldn’t find Lucas. When she called the monastery, she learned he left with a man with tattoos. Kate immediately knew he had to be with Ava and Harris and that they’d tracked down Clyde.

When Lucas checked his phone, he saw all the messages from his mother so he called her back to ease her mind. That was easier said than done.

Xander Gives In

Xander (Paul Telfer) wasn’t happy when Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) said she wanted to find his mother and invite her to their wedding. Xander explained that she was a drunken mess while he was growing up and he hadn’t heard from her in years.

After Sarah explained that Victoria should know her other grandmother, Xander relented and told Sarah the last known place where his mother was, so she started her search.
