DAYS Recap, June 6: Kristen Dumps Alex

On the June 6 episode of Days of our Lives, Kristen had some news for Alex, Theresa had a surprise for Brady, Konstantin shocked Maggie, and Clyde stunned Chad.

Theresa’s Daring Move

Smarting over the fact that Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) wanted to see both her and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), Theresa (Emily O’Brien) decided to throw caution to the wind and decided that if Alex could be with Kristen then she could be with Brady (Eric Martsolf). She even grabbed and kissed him but Brady didn’t quite know what to say. He was pleased that they had come so far as friends and co-parents and didn’t think they should mess things up.

However, Theresa was relentless and Brady finally gave in. They took things to one of the bedrooms upstairs not knowing what Alex really wanted.

Kristen’s Big Decision

When Alex arrived at the DiMera mansion to enjoy more fun at the candy store, Kristen told him that the candy store was closed and she was done being friends with benefits. She told Alex he was talking in his sleep the night before, declaring his undying love for Theresa. Kristen advised Alex to face his own feelings for Theresa, but he admitted that there was something about her that he just didn’t trust.

Alex was still determined to tell Theresa how he felt so he went home so they could chat and was surprised when he called her name and she was nowhere to be found.

Maggie’s Dilemma

Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) was amazed when she paid a visit to Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and discovered the Horton House was almost exactly the same. The conversation soon turned to Konstantin (John Kapelos). Julie warned Maggie not to marry the man because she was sure he never really forgave John for killing his daughter. She also believed that Kon was after Maggie’s money.

Before Maggie could tell Julie she was right, Konstantin walked in with some news. He needed to be married right away in order to stay in the country so he wanted to move the wedding up to the next day and didn’t care if it was a small event. Maggie wasn’t sure if she could agree to that.

Clyde’s Big Bombshell

Chad (Billy Flynn) could hardly believe it when Clyde (James Read) told him he didn’t kill Abigail because she was still alive and well. Chad chose to put down the gun in the hopes that Clyde could give him some answers once he was in custody. When he returned to the motel, Chad told a shocked Lucas (Bryan R. Dattilo) what Clyde said about his niece.

After the FBI took Clyde away, Harris (Steve Burton) expressed his disappointment in Ava (Tamara Braun). He couldn’t believe she was willing to take matters into her own hands and kill Clyde herself.
