DAYS Recap, June 7: Maggie’s Wedding Goes Haywire

On the June 7 episode of Days of our Lives, Maggie revealed almost all at her wedding and the guests were stunned.

The Morning After

Theresa (Emily O’Brien) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) woke the next morning with no regrets — until Theresa made it clear she was only sleeping with him as payback to Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) for sleeping with Kristen. He felt used and then Alex showed up. Theresa didn’t seem to care that he knew she had sex with Brady.

When Brady left the room, Alex told Theresa that he was no longer with Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) because she made him see that he really wanted Theresa. Theresa admitted she wanted Alex too, but he told her that he had the feeling she was keeping a secret from her. When Alex left the room, she willed herself to keep lying to become the Kiriakis heir.

Later, Brady returned and Theresa was forced to tell him she was going to be with Alex exclusively now. Brady was angry at himself for making the same mistake he said he’d never make again.

The Plan Coming Together

Konstantin (John Kapelos) started his wedding day by sticking a tarot card in John’s (Drake Hogestyn) face and handing him a gun. He was to kill Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) after they were pronounced man and wife. John seemed to take the order well.

Meanwhile, Maggie stopped by Steve’s (Stephen Nichols) place to assure him that everything was going to plan. John soon arrived and told them both that he pretended to be under Konstantin’s trance but Marlena (Deidre Hall) had reprogrammed him so Kon was none the wiser.

Sarah’s Dilemma

In Horton Square, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Bonnie (Judi Evans) had a chat before the wedding. Sarah told Bonnie about her quest to find Xander’s (Paul Telfer) mother but she didn’t know what to say once she would. So, Bonnie made the call for her and tried leaving a message, but Sarah grabbed the phone and left the message instead.

Back at the mansion, Xander was frustrated that Justin (Wally Kurth) had agreed to officiate at the wedding. When Kon returned, he and Xander exchanged heated words as Xander called Kon a con artist.

The Wedding Begins

Finally, it was time for the wedding to begin and the confused guests to become even more confused. Brady gave Theresa an all-knowing look before Justin started the ceremony. He didn’t get far before getting a text that someone embezzled money from Titan. As Konstantin pointed blame all around, John pulled the gun and announced the real prenup was still intact.

So, Konstantin one-upped him with his own announcement. He was the one who sabotaged Victor’s plane and caused his death.
