DAYS Recap, May 27: Nicole Holds Her Baby In Her Arms

On the May 27 episode of Days of our Lives, Nicole’s dreams came true when she learned that her son was alive and well.

Nicole’s Sheer Joy

Nicole (Arianne Zucker) could hardly believe it as Eric (Greg Vaughan) explained to her how her baby ended up with Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) and that Sloan chose to keep the boy and pass him off as the one she and Eric were supposed to adopt. After the shock wore off, Nicole declared that she wanted Sloan arrested — and with good reason.

When Holly (Ashley Puzemis) walked in and learned the news, she was the only one who thought of Eric’s feelings and the fact that he was going to have to give up Jude. After that dawned on Nicole, she allowed Eric to hold him and say goodbye, but he was in tears doing so.

Later, Eric called Rafe (Galen Gering) over to his apartment to talk to Sloan but when they got there, Sloan was missing. Did she take EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) up on his offer while be feigned shock and joy at having “his” son back?

Ava and Harris Head Out of Salem

Ava (Tamara Braun) was thrilled when Harris (Steve Burton) returned in his full Navy uniform after visiting Arlington National Cemetery for Memorial Day. However, he had to ask Rafe for more unpaid time off. He and Ava had a job to do.

They now had enough information to go after Clyde Weston (James Read) and learned he was in Montana. So, they booked a flight for the western state and set out on their mission to bring the man down once and for all.

Rafe Needs Help

Rafe stopped by the Black Patch office to have a chat with Steve (Stephen Nichols). He told him all about the blood found on Gil’s little black book and was sure Steve could help them solve Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) murder and bring Gabi home once and for all. Steve agreed, as did John when he popped in.

After Rafe left, John asked Steve how he manages to get along with Ava these days and Steve admitted it wasn’t easy, but he was going to help her catch Clyde.

Sarah and Xander Make an Announcement

Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer) happily told Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) they were engaged when they shared a meal in Horton Square. However, Maggie had a request. She didn’t want Sarah and Xander to wed until after she married Konstantin. She claimed she wanted a clear head to enjoy their wedding.

Later, Sarah and Xander were both dismayed to learn that Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) would be moving into the Kiriakis mansion.
