DAYS Recap, May 29: Marlena Has Plans For Everett

On the May 29 episode of Days of our Lives, Marlena worried about Everett and Eric while an odd crew in Montana searched for Clyde.

Making Sense of Everett

Stephanie (Abigail Klein) needed someone to confide in so she asked Chad (Billy Flynn) to meet her in the park so they could talk about Marlena (Deidre Hall) diagnosing Everett (Blake Berris) with dissociative identity disorder. Chad was surprised and remembered when his wife had the exact same affliction.

While in Horton Square, Marlena ran into Everett and asked him where he had been. He said he was just walking around. Marlena knew he was trying to avoid talking about what happened at Small Bar and worried he needed more help than she realized.

To that end, she called both Stephanie and Jada (Elia Cantu) to ask if they would participate in an intervention to convince Everett to get the help he so desperately needed.

Jada And Steve Compare Notes

At The Brady Pub, Jada and Steve (Stephen Nichols) sat down for a meal and she told him that they were short-staffed at the station because Harris (Steve Burton) needed more time off. The subject turned to Clyde Weston (James Read) and Jada mentioning that Officer Goldman would eat the same gluten-free bun she was eating. Goldman had celiac disease and ordered her bread products online.

That caused Steve’s ears to perk up and do some research cause he knew that Ava (Tamara Braun) and Harris were off searching for Clyde.

Montana Moments

Ava, Harris, and Lucas (Bryan R. Dattilo) arrived in Montana and were forced to share a hotel room. They tried to make the best of things but Lucas was already getting on Ava and Harris’ nerves. After they sat down to make a game plan, Harris and Lucas left to get some food.

That’s when Steve called Ava to tell her that a woman known as Ms. Silver had gluten-free bread delivered to a Montana PO Box the week after Clyde escaped. Finally, they had a lead.

Angsty Eric

Poor Eric (Greg Vaughan) laid in bed crying — even when his mom called to ask when he and Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) would be coming to dinner. Eric texted and canceled, but Marlena knew there was something wrong. She and John (Drake Hogestyn) headed to Eric’s place where he told them the truth about Jude.

They forced him to join them for a meal in Horton Square. When Eric and John spent some time alone together, John reminded Eric of his own heartache when he was forced to give Eric and Sami back to Roman when they were children.
