DAYS Recap, May 30: Adventure In Montana

On the May 30 episode of Days of our Lives, the trio had some luck in Montana, while Kristen and Theresa got some big surprises at home.

A Lead On Clyde

Ava (Tamara Braun) woke to an excited Harris (Steve Burton) telling her he had a lead on Clyde. Andrew Donovan was able to crack more of the code in Gil’s black book and now had the identity of Clyde’s (James Read) dealers. One of them was even right nearby. He left Ava and Lucas (Bryan R. Dattilo to their own devices to track the man down.

That was either a good idea or a bad idea because Ava convinced Lucas to help her stake out the post office where Goldman was expecting her gluten-free bread. Lucas donned his monk getup and Ava put on a cowboy hat and they were on their way. Lo and behold, Lucas ran straight into Goldman and promptly subdued her with bear spray before Ava came along.

Alex And His Two Ladies

As Theresa (Emily O’Brien) enjoyed breakfast on her own at The Bistro, Stefan (Brandon Barash) approached her and offered her the restaurant manager job. She turned it down because she said she didn’t need the money anymore.

Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) enjoyed a morning in bed where he gave her the same bracelet he gave Theresa a few weeks ago. Alex then went to his session with Marlena (Deidre Hall) and told her that he was sleeping with both Theresa and Kristen. He felt Kristen just wanted him for the sex and Theresa for the money, so Marlena convinced him to test that theory.

He later ran into Theresa in Horton Square and admitted he was also with Kristen because he was not ready to be exclusive. Theresa tried to hide her hurt and told Alex she understood, confirming to him it was the money she was after.

Marlena’s Worries

Marlena spent time before work worrying about Eric (Greg Vaughan) and how he was doing after losing Jude. She spoke to Roman (Josh Taylor) and was happy that Roman was comforting their son, but she knew he would need more help than that.

Later, she also had worries about Everett (Blake Berris) and what she, Jada (Elia Cantu), and Stephanie (Abigail Klein) planned to do in his hotel room.

DiMera Troubles

Kristen was stunned to see a baby in the living room — a baby whose name EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) wanted to change as soon as Nicole (Arianne Zucker) was awake. He explained to his sister how Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) kept “his” son for herself and suddenly confessed all to Eric before skipping town. Kristen found it all to be suspicious and wondered who helped Sloan.

She also wondered how EJ planned to run for mayor and also be DiMera CEO so he told her once he was in charge of Salem, he could make all the governmental rules.
