DAYS Recap, May 31: Nicole and Sloan Have It Out

On the May 31 episode of Days of our Lives, Nicole got her moment with Sloan, Leo started figuring things out, Melinda found herself in hot water, and Everett had some issues.

Nicole’s Big Moment

Nicole (Arianne Zucker) told EJ (Daniel Feurriegel) that she wanted to keep the name Jude, but EJ didn’t want to hear of it and asked her to think of a new name for her baby while he took the boy for a walk. Once alone, Nicole poured herself a glass of water as Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) walked in the back door.

Sloan tried to explain her actions, claiming she was traumatized from her miscarriage and suddenly a baby appeared at her door and she thought it was fate. Nicole didn’t buy any of it and punched Sloan across the mouth. That’s when Sloan got vicious and brought up the fact that she did the same thing with Sami’s baby once.

Nicole became more furious and turned to call the police, so Sloan tried making a run for it. Too bad Eric (Greg Vaughan) walked in before Sloan could walk out.

Leo’s Busy Day

Leo (Greg Rikaart) was unnerved when Eric approached him in Horton Square to express his fury at his lies. He knew that Jude was Nicole’s all along and never said anything. Leo admitted that he tried to a few times, but that wasn’t good enough for Eric.

Later, Leo ran into EJ walking Jude outside The Brady Pub. That’s when Leo started putting a few things together. He asked EJ why he would want Leo to keep the truth about Jude from Nicole when suddenly he was with the baby. Maybe there was something more going on here.

Melinda’s In Hot Water

Melinda (Tina Huang) fielded more questions from Rafe (Galen Gering) and told him she had bowed out of Sloan’s adoption saga after it fell through. She said that Sloan completely cut her out when she “adopted” Jude.

Later, when Rafe and Eric caught up in the square, he told him what Melinda said and Eric countered all of it. He told Rafe that Melinda was the one who handed them the baby, so Rafe promptly returned to Melinda’s office to arrest her.

Intervening With Everett

Everett (Blake Berris) started his day dreaming about being Bobby and making out with Jada (Elia Cantu) in the shower only to have Stephanie (Abigail Klein) walk in. When he woke, he found Stephanie and Jada at his door to talk to him — or at least intervene.

He scoffed when they told him that Marlena (Deidre Hall) thought he had DID, but suddenly Everett disappeared and Bobby came out. When Marlena walked in, he insisted there were things that Everett couldn’t know and he was going to protect him. As he raged, he announced they’d never see Everett again before promptly passing out.
