DAYS Recap, May 6: EJ Keeps Sloan’s Shocking Secret

On the May 6 episode of Days of our Lives, EJ learned the truth about Jude, Johnny and Chanel worried about their baby, Everett’s life took quite a turn, and more.

EJ Does a Bad, Bad Thing

EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) was stunned when Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) told him that Jude was really Eric’s (Greg Vaughan( son and she had switched the DNA tests when Nicole (Arianne Zucker) was still pregnant. She reminded him that they were on the same side and it would be best for his marriage if he never told Nicole the truth. Letting Sloan and Eric keep Jude would keep Eric and Nicole apart.

When EJ arrived home, he was visibly shaken and Nicole could see there was something wrong. EJ played it up as a stressful day at work. Nicole then told him the photographer she’d be working with was Eric. That sealed the deal for EJ as he kept his lips sealed about Nicole’s son.

Sloan also kept up her act when Eric returned to their apartment and told her he just had to deal with a drunk and heartbroken Leo (Greg Rikaart).

Johnny and Chanel Have a Decision to Make

Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) were excited about their baby but also scared something could be wrong due to her being exposed to radiation. Chanel told Johnny about a girl with Down’s Syndrome who watches her bake every morning and how she wanted to hire her when she was strong enough.

Meanwhile, Paulina (Jackee Harry) fretted over what she did and admitted to Abe (James Reynolds) that one of the reasons she felt she had to rescue Chanel was so that she could play hero. She blamed herself if something was really wrong with her grandchild.

Everett Does His Own Thing

Stephanie (Abigail Klein) was surprised to learn that Everett (Blake Berris) had published an expose on Paulina’s exploits and that Chad (Billy Flynn) had sanctioned it. She called Abe and advised him to have Paulina make a statement immediately, but he didn’t want to bother her about it just yet.

Everett was also surprised when he received news that his divorce was final, but seemed to change when he read the name Robert Stein. After Stephanie left The Brady Pub, Everett started flirting with a woman at the bar and introduced himself as Bobby.

Jada’s Good News

Jada (Elia Cantu) and Rafe (Galen Gering) happily unpacked her things and decorated his house with Jada’s paintings. They discussed the time Jordan (Chrishell Shause) lived with him, but left out Nicole and Ava (Tamara Braun) living there.

They thought they were on easy street when Jada received the new about her diroce but they had no idea that Everett was slipping in and out of the Bobby personality.
