DAYS Recap, May 7: John and Marlena Conned Konstantin

On the May 7 episode of Days of our Lives, John and Marlena filled Steve in on their plot, Konstantin’s fury hit, Theresa saw dollar signs, and Alex saw (a lot of) Kristen.

Jarlena Still Got it

Steve (Stephen Nichols) stopped by John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) so they could fill him in on their plan and everything that’s happened over the last few days. It turned out John knew what Konstantin (John Kapelos) had been up to with the tarot cards because Marlena hypnotized him into remembering.

They told Steve all about getting the pre-nup out of the safe and Konstantin burning it but it turned out John was already in the safe earlier in the night and put a fake pre-nup in there. That is the one he gave Konstantin so the real one is still safe. Now, they debated about telling Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) the truth and letting her in on their plan.

Konstantin Gets Bad News

When Xander (Paul Telfer) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) arrived at the Kiriakis mansion with Victoria, Maggie told them that Victor’s will had cleared probate and she planned to give her inheritance away to charitable causes. Konstantin immediately freaked out and asked her to reconsider but she said she made up her mind years ago.

Xander immediately accused Konstantin of being after Maggie’s money. Maggie defended him but Xander didn’t buy it. When alone, Xander told Sarah that Konstantin was a dangerous con man and he was determined to prove it.

Alex’s Good Time

Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Theresa (Emily O’Brien) were both excited to hear that the will had cleared probate as he thought of all the things he planned to do with his inheritance. He went out to get champagne and sparking wine as Theresa waited with bated breath. He even kissed her goodbye before he left.

At the DiMera mansion, Brady (Eric Martsolf) stopped by to take Rachel (Finley Rose Slater) to school as Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) flirted with him. She offered him coffee and he almost made himself comfortable until Alex walked in and planted a big kiss on Kristen. Brady left as Alex and Kristen took things to the bedroom.

Theresa’s Heartbreak

Theresa was surprised when Brady popped in to give her the bad news. Alex was at the DiMera mansion and he watched him make out with Kristen. Theresa finally admitted that she was in love with Alex and quite jealous but Brady said he didn’t feel any jealousy at all.

Brady was confused when Konstantin arrived at the door claiming he wanted Theresa to help him choose a wedding present for Maggie. After Brady left, Konstantin wanted Theresa’s help in talking Maggie out of giving away her money.
