DAYS Spoilers, December 3: Saying Goodbye To Doug on a Very Special Episode

Days of our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, December 3, 2024, promise a memorable, momentous, and bittersweet day in Salem as Doug’s memorial brings on the tears.

Farewell To A Salem Legend

Doug Williams’ (Bill Hayes) friends and family gather together to remember his legendary Salem life. Doug arrived in Salem as an ex-con who shared a cell with Mickey Horton (John Clarke) and became one of the most beloved citizens in town. He entertained Salem as a singer for years and even owned his own club called Doug’s Place By The Lake. Later, he grew into a beloved patriarch who had a special relationship with Chad’s (Billy Flynn) children.

Doug’s most prolific singer at that club, Liz Chandler (Gloria Loring), attends his memorial, remembering when her husband later bought it and named the club Blondie’s. Liz has an encounter with Marie Horton (Maree Cheatham), who was once her rival for Neil’s affections.

More Horton Surprises

Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes), Hope (Kristian Alfonso), and Doug’s other family members all recall their best times with Doug before returning to the Horton House. That’s where Ciara (Victoria Konefal) manages to open the treasure box that fell from the attic after the fire earlier this year. What will Ciara, Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), Shawn (Brandon Beemer), and Lucas (Bryan R. Dattilo) find when they look inside?

Finally, Julie can’t leave Doug’s graveside. When she takes a quick walk back to once again talk to her late husband, she finds a mysterious stranger who introduces himself as Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer). He is Doug’s grandson via his long-lost son, Dougie. Julie brings him home to meet the rest of his family, but is he all he appears to be?
