DAYS Spoilers, December 5: Hope Makes It Back To Salem

Days of our Lives spoilers for Thursday, December 5, 2024, promise another bittersweet day in Salem as Hope’s visit comes and goes in a flash — but at least she gets to be with both of her children.

Hope’s Heartache

Hope (Kristian Alfonso) just couldn’t stay away. Even with Bo (Peter Reckell) finally showing signs of life, Hope had to be there for her father to say goodbye. While she doesn’t make it to the funeral, she does get to be with Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) after and visit Doug’s grave. However, her visit is short and sweet as she needs to get back to Greece.

At Doug’s grave, she spends some time with Shawn-Douglas (Brandon Beemer) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal). Shawn is considering staying in Salem for now but Ciara needs to get back to Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and her two children. Baby Bo and Addie both need her. Big Bo will be happy when he wakes up and learns that he has two more grandchildren.

Julie’s New Doug

Julie just buried her beloved Doug, but now she has a new Doug in her life. Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) is in Salem and wants to get to know his Horton family.

While Julie is glad to have someone new to call her “Grandma” other members of the clan wonder if they can trust this newcomer and want to know more about his past.

Xander’s Feud

Just because Salem just said goodbye to Doug, it doesn’t mean other plots don’t go on. Xander (Paul Telfer) is determined to stop Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) in his tracks and begs Stephanie (Abigail Klein) to stop helping him. Will he get what he wants or is Stephanie too stubborn?
