DAYS Spoilers, May 1: Nicole Gets a Big Eric Surprise

On the May 1 episode of Days of our Lives, spoilers tease Nicole learning about her new co-worker, Sloan and Eric at odds, and Chanel’s condition worsening.

The Spectator Becomes a Soap Opera

Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) are both thrilled that The Spectator is willing to hire them when they didn’t even hand in a resume. Nicole has no experience as a newspaper reporter and Eric only takes pictures when he is not a priest.

When Nicole shows up for her first day of work, she is shocked to learn that she will be working closely with Eric. She is a little nervous about the prospect but deep down inside she hopes this can bring them together again.

Money Troubles

Meanwhile, Eric and Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) continue to fight about money. He still can’t understand why she is willing to find Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) when they barely have money for themselves and their son.

Sloan has every excuse in the world but Eric is not buying it. There is more to this story than meets the eye and Eric is determined to find out what it is. Maybe he can use Nicole’s new investigative reporting skills.

Fear For Chanel

As Chanel’s (Raven Bowens) symptoms worsen, her family gets more and more worried about her condition. How could Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) have given her the all-clear only for this to happen?

It’s clear that Paulina (Jackee Harry) did more harm than good when she rescued her daughter and now there seems to be much more to Chanel’s condition than meets the eye and it could lead to a heartbreaking decision. Will Paulina be able to love with herself in the end?
