General Hospital Promo Preview: Jagger Is Dead, Sonny In The Hot Seat

This week on General Hospital, John ‘Jagger’ Cates is no more because Sonny couldn’t help himself and shot him in cold blood. Now, what is he going to do?

Sonny’s Rash Move

Sonny did not have to shoot an unarmed man twice, but the mobster was reverting to form. Remember when he did the same exact thing to AJ Quartermaine? Michael didn’t know what really happened then, but it looks like he knows now.

Michael comes across Sonny standing over the body and it looks like he may help his father cover his tracks. They make their way back to the main house where Chase announces that Jagger is dead. He wants to question everyone assembled as Sonny looks on dumbfounded. He puts on quite an act as he feigns shock, but Nina looks over at him knowingly. Did her ex-husband really do such a thing?

Sonny doesn’t turn to Nina for help. Instead, he turns to another ex-wife who is used to covering up his crimes. Carly is stunned to learn what Sonny did, but she is always willing to help — for the sake of the family, of course.

Over in Somalia…

With all that drama happening in Port Charles, things are even more precarious in Somalia. Lucky is still in a heap of trouble and winning at poker is not going to help his situation. Perhaps his father’s ex can when Holly Sutton shows up. Fans haven’t seen her since 2023, but she always manages to find herself in these odd and dangerous situations.

Holly was supposed to be off helping Ethan settle all his debts. Is this Somalian debt the last one they need to settle before returning to Port Charles?
