Dex gets a beer at the Brown Dog and comes face to face with Jason. He asks him what he wants. Jason says it is about Sonny. Dex wants Jason to tell Sonny that he doesn’t want trouble. Jason tells Dex he isn’t there for Sonny, but he promised Josslyn he wouldn’t let Dex get hurt. Dex believes he can take care of himself. Jason says he isn’t doing it for Dex. He’s doing it for Josslyn and Sonny. Dex thinks his priorities are screwed up because Sonny hates Jason. Jason thinks that Sonny should know better than to try and kill a cop. Dex says he didn’t know better than to attack Cyrus.
Anna enters the Metro Court to see Valentin at the bar. He offers her a glass of white wine. He compliments her, saying that her work has her energized. Anna deflects and Valentin continues to butter her up, saying she is brilliant at everything she does and would be an excellent tree surgeon if she wanted to. Anna quips that she has a black thumb. Valentin assures her she is great at her job as commissioner.
Nina and Drew panic as the knocking sounds again. Drew calls housekeeping to keep them out while they are put themselves back together. Nina freaks out because she had a very important meeting. She calls Madison to speak to McConkey. The meeting is rescheduled but she blames Drew anyway for almost making her miss it. Drew is interested in meeting him because he is the man who put Drew in jail. Nina tries to brush him off, unsure how to introduce Drew. Drew suggests she introduce him as the man he put in jail whose shirt she rips off once in a while.
Sasha goes to Cody and asks him to taste her tetrazzini. Cody says it’s great. Stressed, she is worried it was the wrong food to make for Olivia. She was auditioning for the job as cook. Cody is surprised that she might work and live at the Quartermaine’s. Sasha really wants the job but won’t infringe on Cody’s space. She asks him if he would feel crowded if she lived there too.
Olivia wants everyone to eat it. Michael takes a bite as the guinea pig. He likes it. Leo wants to know if it’s a casserole or spaghetti. He spells it for Wiley. They all try it. Olivia thinks it’s good. Leo says it’s better than Olivia’s spaghetti.
Maxie demos the Deceptor cream to Natalia. She likes the scent but questions its efficacy. Maxie says yes all their products do what they say they do. Natalia asks what Allie’s music manager’s position at the company is. Maxie defends Brook Lynn for being a serious business woman. Natalia believes Blaze is putting her career in the hands of a rich dilettante.
Jason asks if Dex he kept a copy of the evidence he got for Michael. Dex said he would have given it to Anna if he did. Jason wants to know what Dex had on Sonny but Dex tells him to ask Michael. Jason reassures Dex that he isn’t there to kill him. He believes Sonny is in over his head with Pikeman.
Valentin tells Anna he thought about her a lot while he was in Europe taking Charlotte back to boarding school. Anna is surprised that Charlotte would go back. He reassures Anna that she likes it but because of recent events it was better for her to be out of town. She expresses remorse for shooting Charlotte and is happy that she is strong enough to return to Switzerland. Valentin admits that he misses Charlotte, and he also misses Anna. He wonders if there was a possibility of seeing Anna again.
Nina doesn’t make an promises about introducing her to McConky. She wants to ensure that their sexcapades never happen again. There’s another knock at the door. It’s Willow. Drew answers. Nina pretends she locked the door when she came in and is holding a notepad. His shoelaces is untied.
Dex let’s Jason know that the Pikeman rep was a man named Hume. They met a few times. Jason asks how Valentin fit in. Dex says that Valentin is the one who set up the original meeting and came back when Sonny wanted to drop Pikeman. After they found specialized plastique explosives, Sonny thought it was too risky. The charge would have been 20 years minimum. Dex gave the footage to Michael who destroyed it. He tells Jason that Valentin met with Hume the same day someone shot at Sonny at the Metro Court. Jason asks if he had that picture.
Anna is caught off guard by Valentin’s overature. Valentin wants to take her out to dinner and talk about the past. Anna agrees to think about it but makes no promises. She admits that her feelings for him did not disappear overnight but she is unsure about going down that path again won’t lead to more heartbreak. Valentin thinks there is only one way to find out. Anna’s phone goes of: “Go to the Brown Dog Bar.” Anna gets up to leave. Valentin takes her hand and says he will call her.
Maxie will not tear Brook Lynn down for Natalia. She is Maxie’s best friend and did everything herself. Natalia calls it laughable that Brook Lynn has done it on her own and calls her a nepobaby. She says her daughter did it on her own. Maxie says it’s not a compatetition. Natalia scoffs.
Willow apologizes for interuppting. Nina stands up, makes a veiled crack about getting what she wanted from Drew and heads for the door. Willow stops her and says she was thrown seeing them here together. She thinks it’s good that Drew can work with Nina after being thrown in prison by her. He thinks maybe she could let her own anger at Nina go. Nina thanks her for saying that and leaves. Drew says that was very unexpected. Willow agrees. He asks her how she felt about reaching out. Willow says surprisingly okay. She thanks him for showing her the way by being so forgiving.
Sasha nervously asks if she should go back to the house. Cody says she is cute when she’s nervous. He insists that she doesn’t need to be nervous because she is a great cook, she isn’t crowding him, and worst case scenario he could take his room and he would take the couch. She shocks him be kissing him.
Natalia compares Blaze’s awful experience with Link to Brook Lynn. Maxie says you don’t need to worry about Brook Lynn because she is a professional. Natalia says as a mother she doesn’t want her daughter being represented by a rich girl who thinks that music is some hobby. Maxie is offended on Brook Lynn’s behalf. Natalia says her daughter wouldn’t be the Face of Deception without Brook Lynn’s interference/influence. Maxie accuses Natalia of wanting to live out her own dreams instead of Blaze’s. Natalia says it’s so easy to blame the mother and Maxie would find out when her kids got older.
Cody says wow as the kiss ends. Michael catches them and asks what is up. Cody says they’re ‘horsing around.’
Anna enters the Brown Dog. Dex is surprised to see her but realizes she is who Jason was texting with.He thinks the entire situation is above his paygrade and that he has no paygrade. She says he does and welcomes him to the PCPD. He tells Jason he will take him up on that promise (for Jason’s protection) and Jason says be good to Josslyn as he leaves. Jason recounts what Dex told him about Pikeman. Tells her about how Hume met Valentin on the same day as the shooting. She says it’s impossible.
Drew calls Willow the most fogiving person he knows. Willow says not with Nina but she is trying. He offer her his support no matter what. Willow asks him for more information on the New Tomorrow NonProfit. He explains that the company wants to educate the general public on the therapies based on transplants. They discuss the day-to-day and whether or not she will take it. She calls Drew amazing. Drew says he is no angel but he likes that she thinks he is.
Maxie leaves her office and runs into Nina. Nina gushes about how Willow spoke to her and she wants to celebrate. Not expecting that development, Maxie asks how it happened. Nina says it’s because of Drew and how Willow got the idea that they’re friends which is untrue. They hate each other. She slips and says even the sex is hateful. Maxie is shocked.
Wiley is sent to feed the horses carrots. Sasha anxiously asks Michael what he thought of the dinner. Michael and the boys loved it. Olivia enters and thinks the food needs improvement (more oregano, less basil) but she offers her the job.
Olivia asks if she wants to be the new Quartermaine cook. Sasha says yes. Michael requests tettrazini at least once a week. There is splashing in the distance. Michael goes off to investigate. Olivia offers to show Sasha to her room. When she notices the tension between them, she makes rules about their behavior. No sneaking into Sasha’s oom while the kids are there which is always. She then calls them cute together but she has her eyes on them.
Maxie asks how many times and looks horrified when Nina holds up two fingers. She says it keeps happening. Maxie says you don’t sleep with your enemies. Maxie says a therapist would have a field day with Nna. Willow thinks Drew is a superhero and now she needs to keep Drew on her side. Maxie says won’t the great sex help?
Dex sent the picture with the date stamp. Anna realizes Valentin has been lying to her the entire time. She references and how Valentin volunteered to go with Kevin and Laura to Chechnya. On July 6, he called Anna and said he was in Geneva but he was in PC with Hume. Pikeman breifed Jason and Hamish about the Metro Court shooting. The 2-man team were evacutated and met with senior agents; Hume and Valentin. She says it’s more than meetings with Valentin. She wonders if Charlotte being out of town makes it easier for Valentin to do Pikeman’s job because Switzerland is a good place to do business. Anna says Valentin is good but she was better. She calls him and says she was thinking about his dinner invitation.
