GH – Recap May 15: The Brook Lynn Chase Wedding is under way.

The wedding is today. At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy looks at a picture of Edward and Lila as Ned enters. Tracy is glad to have some time alone with Ned, telling him that he is a wonderful father he is and she laughs when he is confused by her uncharacteristic show of affection. He thanks her and admits he hasn’t always been perfect, but he tries. Tracy says that the upcoming nuptials makes her think of all the milestones she missed in Ned’s life, including Ned’s wedding to Lois. She apologizes for not being there. He is glad she is here now, and they hug.

Sonny tells Olivia that the Metro Court looks great. Olivia is over the moon for Chase and Brook Lynn. Since Tracy is picking up the tab is to make sure everything goes off without a hitch at the hotel and is a bit frantic.

At the church, Jordan hints that she knows about Curtis’ new appointment. Curtis isn’t ready to confirm it, but she congratulates him anyway before leaving. Portia asks when they are announcing it. Curtis says they are waiting for the right moment. Jordan returns in time to see them together kissing.

At Finn’s, Chase and Finn are dressed for the wedding. Chase is fussing and Finn says he looks fine. Chase grumbles that he is supposed to be building him up. Charlotte is practicing tossing flowers. Liz says Chase looks very handsome. Chase believes it doesn’t matter because all eyes will be on his gorgeous bride.

While getting ready, Lois tells Brook Lynn that she is radiating happiness. Brook Lynn is the happiest she has ever been and she owes it all to Chase. Lois says some of it is owed to Chase and the rest to Brook Lynn. Lois makes her to thank herself for making the right choice and being on the brink of forever with the man she loves. Excited, Brook Lynn exclaims; She is getting married today.

Sam hugs Kristina and calls them beautiful. When Blaze says thank you, Kristina teases that Sam meant her and the baby. Dante approaches. He comments it’s crazy to see Blaze dating his little sister.

Dex arrives and Michael is happy to see him. Anna arrives too and they go in together to sign the guest book. Michael runs away when Pattie (Cerullo) arrives and reminds him to save her a dance. Sam tells Pattie that Michael is a good dancer.

Kristina worries that Sonny will bring Ava and passes that worry onto Dante.

Josslyn meets a Cerullo cousin, Giovanni Mazza. He asks her if Sonny will be there. When she asks what side, he will be sitting on, he says neither. He is there to play music.

Olivia is fussing at the Metro Court and Sonny teases her about it. Natalia appears and he introduces her to Olivia. Olivia compliments her daughter and says she and Kristina make a beautiful couple. She runs off with her ‘to do’ list. Sonny asks if Natalia is ready. She thanks him for including her.

Lois is doing Brook Lynn’s hair and comments on how beautiful it is. Lois gets emotional over doing her hair like this for the last time. She says after today she will be a married lady. Brook Lynn says she will still have hair and they laugh.

Liz asks Finn how Gregory is. Finn thinks he is buoyed by the wedding. He is worried he wouldn’t tell them either way because he wants to officiate. His stamina hasn’t been good, and he is worried Gregory won’t have the strength to physically get through the wedding. Finn asks if they want to go check on Dad and get going soon. He sneaks out to meet Ned. Ned says he will see them at the church. Gregory is ready to go, and Liz attaches his boutonniere.

Spinelli greets Anna and asks if she is just arriving. She admits to taking a breather and asks if he is waiting for someone. Spinelli is gathering courage for his date with Maxie. He is nervous. Anna understands that he and Maxie are rediscovering each other, which can be scary and fun and exciting. Spinelli remembers that Anna is Maxie’s godmother and says his intentions are honorable. She knows.

Drew greets Jordan. She is checking her work emails and thinks he will mock her for concentrating on the wrong thing. Drew doesn’t mind and asks if she is there solo. She is free as a bird. He asks if they want to flock together.

Sonny says Natalia looks beautiful as they walk to the church. He spots Dex and glares. Dex moves past. Sonny tells Natalia that Dex is an ex-employee who violated his trust. He offers his arm to Natalia. Anna appears and he introduces Natalia to her. Anna tells them to have fun and moves on.

Kristina and Blaze spot Natalia with Sonny. Kristian is pleased. Blaze isn’t.

Brook Lynn says her hair is perfect. Lois is weepy. Lois says she is nostalgic for Brook Lynn’s childhood and proud of the woman she has become. She is happy for her. She says being Brook Lynn’s mother has been the best thing she has ever done and she loved every second. She is lucky. Brook Lynn agrees that she is lucky too and she is getting married but she will always needs her ma. Lois asks her to promise, and she does.

Blaze pulls her mother away to talk. Kristina asked why Sonny would show up with her girlfriend’s mother on her arm. Sonny is surprised she cares. Kristina tells Sonny to help her out and amp up his charm with Natalia to help her out. Sonny brags that he is always charming. Blaze told her mother she was there with Kristina and Natalia says she is there and they we can all celebrate together.

Curtis asks Portia if she is thinking about their wedding as she looks into the church. She calls it a beautiful day until it wasn’t (their wedding ended in her lies being exposed and Curtis abandoning her.) He isn’t dwelling on that and tells her that they made it. Portia says she couldn’t lose him again. He reassures her they she won’t.

Ned asks Olivia what her stress levels are. She says a 6. Ned tells her he got what he needed from Finn. Ned had a moment with his mother and he thinks Tracy is more open with her feelings these days because of Brook Lynn. Olivia calls it the power of love.

There’s a knock at Brook Lynn’s dressing room. Tracy enters. She allows her to call her granny for one day because she is the bride. Brook Lynn calls her stunning. Tracy returns the compliment and asks if she has nerves. Brook Lynn says surprisingly no. Tracy isn’t surprised because Brook Lynn has good instincts and she trusts them. She admires that about her. She says it took her a long time to find Luke and she is glad that Brook Lynn found Chase early. Tracy calls her spectacular inside and out. Brook Lynn thanks her, calling her granny. She groans, regretting giving her permission.

Finn and Liz enter the living room. He teases his father about his fifth time through the speech. Gregory is worried about letting Chase down. Liz tells him he could never and asks if they are ready. Charlotte says she was ready months ago. Chase tells Gregory that he is excited but weirdly calm. He offers his son some advice to try and take it all in, especially the hope. Take a mental picture to keep with him forever. Chase calls him the best dad a kid could ask for. He grew up surrounded by love and support. He tells him he loves him. Gregory says he loves Chase and is ready to get Chase hitched.

Tracy offers Brook Lynn a gorgeous bracelet that was Lila’s. She tells Brook Lynn that she and Lila were similar. She saw the glass half full and the good in people. Tracy says Brook Lynn has that same quality. Tracy calls her a colossal pain in her ass and that she adores her beyond measure. Brook Lynn says back atcha. They embrace.

Spinelli is on the phone reassuring Georgie that he will take many pictures when Jason appears. He jumps into Jason’s arms, and he is grateful that Jason is there. Jason apologizes for not being able to reach out to Spinelli earlier. He welcomes him home and Spinelli tries to hug him again. Jason doesn’t allow it. Spinelli fusses with Jason’s suit jacket.

Dante greets Sonny and Natalis is introduced. Michael greets Sonny and Sonny blows him off. Willow follows Michael out. Sonny explains to Natalia that his son disappointed him. She understands.

Gregory goes in to sit inside and conserve his energy. Liz and Charlotte go with him into the church. Chase thanks Finn for standing up for him. Finn says there is nowhere else he would rather be.

Leo and Lois walk up to Olivia and Ned, Gloria and Carmine Cerullo.

Dex and Joss smile at each other across the aisle. He sists with Anna. Tracy enters and Gregory frantically asks where she has been and where are her detailed instructions. Tracy says speak from the heart. She’s got nothing because he needs nothing.

Ned greets Jason. Drew smiles. Jason says he is there to represent Monica. Willow leads them in.

Olivia says Ned looks handsome. Lois appears and she talks about how far away a wedding is from having a child. Lois goes on about how beautiful and hilarious she is. Ned says Brook Lynn is like her mother. Ned says he made a lot of mistakes. Losi agrees she did too, but they did somethings right. She says the proof is in the pudding. Maxie appears and objects to calling the bride pudding. She brings Brook Lynn in.

Brook Lynn asks Ned what he thinks. He calls her a sight to behold. She says let’s get this wedding started.

Giovanni plays violin. Gloria says he plays like an angel (like her sister.)

Finn asks Chase if he is ready. Chase is more than ready. The doors open and Lois enters on Dante’s arm. He takes his place next to the brothers. Charlotte enters next tossing flowers. Willow follows, getting a smile from Michael as she reaches the front. Maxie gets a sweet look from Spinelli on her way.

Outside, Ned tells Brook Lynn that he is proud of her and the story she has written for herself. He cannot wait to read te rest. She asks if he is ready to give her away. He says he will walk her down the aisle, but he will never give her away.

They enter and walk down the aisle. Chase and Brook Lynn hold hands. He says it feels like forever since he’s seen her. She says he saw her last night. Gregory teases them about getting started. He struggles to begin the wedding service, coughing a lot. He continues bravely, but it gets worse as the crowd looks on. Chase softly calls out dad as he struggles.
