GH Spoilers for September 24: Carly Covers For Sonny

General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, September 24, 2024, promise a Carson day as they try to figure out how to get Alexis out of jail but keep Sonny out of jail.

Carly and Sonny’s Plan

Carly (Laura Wright) is in too deep with her lies now and still has to make people believe that she and Sonny (Maurice Benard) had sex in Tracy’s (Jane Elliot) bed the night John Cates (Adam Harrington) was killed. She even has Brennan believing her. Or at least that is what she thinks.

However, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is now in jail and Sonny is determined to get her out without incriminating himself. As Sonny and Carly strategize, will they end up falling deeper into their lies or coming up with brand-new ones? Josslyn (Eden McCoy) is right that Carly and Sonny are always drawn back into one another’s orbits.

Two Lawyers, One Case

Sonny might have allowed Alexis to go to Pentonville for a crime that he committed, but at least he found her a lawyer, right?

Marty (Michael E. Knight) and Alexis meet to discuss her case. Will Marty make promises to Alexis that he can’t keep? Will Alexis tell Marty that she suspects that Sonny is the culprit? Would that even surprise Marty, a man who doesn’t want to upset a mob boss?

Cop Shop Dilemmas

At the PCPD, Chase (Josh Swickard) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) butt heads. While Chase wants to play by the rules, Dante is torn between his father’s freedom and Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) mother’s freedom. He also has Lulu (Alexa Havins) to think about and might blow up at Chase when it’s unwarranted.

Surely, Dante will realize the error of his ways and Chase will be understanding. Or, could we have a new rivalry brewing?
