GH Spoilers, May 16: Will The Wedding Go Off Without a Hitch?

It’s a big wedding day in Port Charles.

On the May 16 episode of General Hospital, spoilers tease a Quartermaine wedding like no other — Brooklyn style in Port Charles.

Ready For The Big Moment

It’s finally time for Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) to wed. Brook Lynn is decked out in Lila Q’s (Anna Lee) old wedding gown, the same one her mother wore when she married Ned (Wally Kurth) all those years ago in Coney Island. Lois (Rena Sofer) and Ned are on hand to walk BLQ down the aisle, and Gregory (Gregory Harrison) is on hand to marry them.

Gregory Struggles

Sadly, Gregory struggles to get through the ceremony as his ALS symptoms worsen. He was hesitant about performing the ceremony, but Chase and Brook Lynn insisted. He has his two biggest cheerleaders there — Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Tracy (Jane Elliott) — and they are pulling for him.

Thankfully, Gregory does what he sets out to do, and Brook Lynn and Chase are pronounced husband and wife. Now it’s time to head over to the Metro Court for all the festivities.

The Party Gets Started

The reception is everything Brook Lynn and Lois hoped it could be. Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) makes sure the Metro Court has everything they could ever want as even people whom Brook Lynn and Chase don’t really know arrive. Why are Portia (Brook Kerr) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) there again? Do they even know the bride and groom at all?

Jason (Steve Burton) is there, which makes the Quartermaine clan happy — it even makes Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) happy. The only person who could maybe ruin things is Sonny (Maurice Benard). He is still off his meds, which means anything can go wrong at any moment. Who will be there to save the day?
