GH Spoilers, May 9: Jason Tells Sam The Whole Truth

On the May 9 episode of General Hospital, spoilers tease Jason coming clean with Sam, Ava seeing her plan not working, and Natalia determined to get what she wants.

Sam Learns What Really Happened

Sam (Kelly Monaco) remains furious at Jason (Steve Burton) for choosing to stay away from his son for more than two years and worries about the danger he can still bring to Danny (Asher Antonyzin). She is a mother now and has had enough of that life. As Jason and Sam argue some more, he finally tells her what he’s really been up to since late 2021.

Jason has been working for the FBI and his operation is ongoing and sensitive. Does Sam want to know what the FBI has on him? Will he tell her he did all of this to protect Carly (Laura Wright) from RICO charges? Will Sam smack him across the face and ask Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) to join in when she learns he abandoned his children all for the sake of the albatross around his neck for nearly three decades?

Ava Feels Slighted

Ava (Maura West) thought she had the perfect plan. Keep Sonny (Maurice Benard) unmedicated so she can remain his confidante and hero, the one who is there for him and will one day rescue him. However, it’s become more clear that even Ava can’t reign in Sonny.

When he doesn’t seem to want anything to do with her, Ava feels butthurt and thinks she needs to take drastic measures to be the only one Sonny thinks he can count on.

Natalia Wants In

One person Sonny does like at the moment is Natalia (Eva LaRue), which is one of the things that has Ava reeling. Natalia seems to like the good life and figures she needs to fit in with all of these people her daughter now knows.

To that end, she tries wrangling herself an invitation to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase’s (Josh Swickard) wedding. Will she achieve her goal?
