Hatchets & Hope On Bachelor/Bachelorette Night In Port Charles! What Could Go Wrong?
All was well, until it wasn’t! Unwelcome arrivals threatened to chop away the happiness.
As the gents and ladies gather at the Chase’s bachelor party and Brook Lynn’s bridal shower, the trash talk and heart to hearts are plentiful and all in good fun, however this may all be only a temporary reprieve from the drama in Port Charles. A few unwelcome arrivals at each gathering threatened to chop away at the happiness.
After all, what could go wrong with boys, booze and some hatchet throwing while Dex and Drew are in attendance? Drew makes a big show of his hatchet throwing skills although his execution with the blade is less than remarkable, just like some of his relationships. He may have some pleasant conversations with the other revelers here and there, but the tension or disdain is still evident. Does anyone really trust Drew? Nina sure doesn’t.
Dex just can’t catch a break from any group or camp despite his best efforts. With no guarantee that he will be accepted to the Port Charles PD, his future is on shaky ground. Even though Dante tried to make some introductions to the others that were all but flatly rejected, it seems Dex will have a target on his back no matter what he does with his life next. It’s hard for everyone to gauge whose side he is really on, and with good reason, in the past he’s always been a double agent of sorts. Why should the other officers trust him?
Balloons and Brook Lynn Chasers may not be enough to stave off a confrontation from the feuding factions of Port Charles. Though Tracy is ever-consistent she’s not the one to blame this time. Even her reluctance to have fun or express joy was no match for all the love at the bridal shower, and she finally broke from her usual behaviors and gave in to drinks and dancing. Just goes to show what a wonderful grandmother she has matured into.
All was well, until It wasn’t thanks to Josslyn’s continued obsession with Dex’s safety. As Kristina confronted her about the awkwardness and accused her of being drunk, Jossyln lashed back about what Sonny did to Dex in the past and might do in the future. That’s when things started to take a turn for the worst. Though she looked stunned, can Kristina really be that blind to what her father’s business dealings are like and what he is capable of?
With Dex’s increasingly complicated predicament finding its way to the center of Brook Lynn and Chase’s wedding festivities, what will go wrong? Everyone seems to be lulled into a false sense of security, but perhaps a security team needs to be put in place for the wedding considering the guest list.
