Crazy Connie Viniski finally got caught this week on Days of our Lives.

Connie’s Chaos Comes to an End

After a reign of terror that cost Everett and Li their lives and almost cost Rafe, Gabi, Melinda, Ava, and Stefan, Jada caught up with the weird serial killer outside The Brady Pub and arrested her.

When Jada got Connie down to the police station and saw her talking to the cardboard cutout of Li, Jada realized just how far gone Connie was, predicting that she would end up at Bayview rather than Statesville.

Julie Dove Says Farewell

Actress Julie Dove, who only played Connie in what seemed to be a cameo appearance in 2023, was thrilled to return to the soap in 2024 for this major story arc. When her last scenes aired this week, Dove took to social media to say goodbye, but in the hopes that she would be back one day.

“Today is Wednesday, February 14th, and I’m wrapping my run as Connie for now,” Dove said in a video she made last winter when she taped Connie’s final episode. “You’ve probably seen today’s episode, and I’m going to Bayview, so hopefully, we’ll visit me, and maybe I can run into any other Salemites that have been sent there.

“Follow your heart because I promise you it’ll bring you joy if you just let yourself do what you really want to be and be your true self, she remarked.

These are really wonderful people, and everyone works so hard here every day, and I’m just so grateful to be a small part of this history. Until next time.”

Dove did say she’d love that next time to include Marlena making a trek to Bayview to be Connie’s therapist. Marlena has cured other serial killers who are walking free, so you never know…
