Michael Quartermaine Corinthos is not long for General Hospital now that Chad Duell has announced his exit from the soap he has called home for the last 14 years.

What Will Happen To Michael (and Sasha) Now?

When Duell exits Port Charles, so will Michael, as GH Executive Producer Frank Valentini has announced that GH does not plan to recast — at least not immediately. He said Michael will have an exit story at the start of the year and we might be seeing some of that exit story now.

Michael has decided that Drew (Cameron Mathison) must be brought down for being the louse he is — and for sleeping with his wife, of course. And since Michael knows all about that one-night stand, he feels everyone else needs to know too. Now, Drew and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) are exposed, but Michael doesn’t know everything.

While he is of course aware that he slept with Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), he doesn’t know that Sasha is now pregnant with his child. With his marriage in shambles and an exit plot on the way, do Michael and Sasha leave town together for a happily-ever-after? That might seem logical, but would Michael really leave his other two children behind?

Perhaps Michael’s exit story might be much more dramatic and involve Michael being in the wrong place at the wrong time. After all, his sister Kristina (Kate Mansi) is gunning for Ava (Maura West) and out of her mind. Could Michael get caught in the crossfire, making his exit dramatic and consequential indeed?
