Louise Sorel Brings Vivian Alamain Back To Days of our Lives

After Patrika Darbo’s return as Nancy Wesley this week, Days of our Lives fans can get ready for TWO more returns in the coming days.

Vivian Is Back To Cause Trouble…With Someone Else

The last time we saw Vivian, she returned to Salem for Victor’s (the late John Aniston) funeral last year and claimed she was still married to him and his true heir. However, when she went a little nuts as Vivian often does, she flailed a gun around at the DiMera mansion and was arrested.

Now, it seems Vivian is free again and returns to her old stomping grounds to make her son’s life a living hell, so to speak. Stefan (Brandon Barash) is not sure how to feel about Vivian being back, but maybe she will be useful to him.

Sorel originated the role of Vivian in 1993 when she debuted as Lawrence Alamain’s (Michael Sabatino) crazy aunt who buried poor Carly Manning (Crystal Chappell) alive. She has come and gone from Salem ever since, with Robin Strasser and Linda Dano alternating the role a few times over the last five years.

However, Vivian won’t be the only familiar face you see. John-Paul Lavoisier is also returning and will first air at the end of this week. Philip left Salem with Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) last year, but now he is back to help save Titan and keep it out of DiMera hands. Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) has demanded that Xander (Paul Telfer) hand over Victor’s company to get his hands on Dr. Rolf’s serum, but Philip is determined not to let that happen.

As longtime DAYS fans know, Vivian is the woman who carried and gave birth to Philip after stealing Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) embryo. Kate and Philip don’t want to be reminded of that, but Vivian brings up up every chance that she can.

Don’t forget to watch new episodes of Days of our Lives on Peacock starting at 6 AM ET each weekday.
