Molly vs. Kristina: Which One Is In The Right on General Hospital?

Until last year, Molly and Kristina were two sisters who always seemed to get along on General Hospital. However, when Molly learned that she was unable to have children and Kristina happily offered her egg and uterus, we learned Molly’s true feelings about Kristina.

Kristina Insisted…

Molly and TJ originally turned down Kristina’s offer to carry a child for them believing Kristina made everything about herself. After their first surrogate miscarried, Molly and TJ finally gave in to Kristina and Kristina quickly became pregnant.

As Alexis predicted, Kristina became attached to the baby and didn’t want to give her up. Then, fate stepped in the way. Kristina plunged out Ava’s hotel room window and into the pool, resulting in the baby’s death just weeks before her due date.

Now, Kristina refuses to acknowledge Molly’s grief and thinks of the baby she lost as her own. Molly is furious, as is TJ, with them both blaming Kristina for being reckless and going to Ava’s Metro Court room to confront her.

Is Kristina Being Selfish?

Kristina refuses to even acknowledge the name that Molly and TJ gave the baby and keeps calling the late little girl Adela rather than Irene. Molly has been looking on helpless as her family coddles her sister and barely pays her any attention. Molly is supposed to be the strong one, so she is expected to take care of herself.

Is Molly in the right with her newfound animosity and frustration or should she understand that Kristina has been through a traumatic experience and isn’t in her right mind? With Alexis now behind bars in an effort to protect Kristina, Molly has nowhere to turn. Will this sisterly rivalry result in more tragedy and are both Molly and Kristina right and wrong at the same time?
