Scott Reeves Returns To General Hospital as Steven Webber

General Hospital fans are about to see another big comeback this fall when Elizabeth’s brother returns to town.

Steven Webber Is Back In Port Charles

Just a few weeks ago, Elizabeth mentioned that her brother, Steven Webber, was finally out of prison and had settled down in Sedona, Arizona. He could no longer practice medicine but still wanted to work in the health field.

Now comes word that actor Scott Reeves is bringing the character back after more than a decade off the GH canvas. Reeves played Heather Webber’s eldest child from 2009-2013. He started his soap career on Days of our Lives in 1988 as a day player, but found soap fame as Ryan McNeil on The Young and the Restless from 1991-2001.

During Reeves’ time on DAYS, he met and fell in love with Melissa Brennan, who played Jennifer Rose Horton. They married in 1990 and have been together ever since.

The couple raised two children and now have multiple grandchildren. Reeves is also making a soap comeback as DAYS’ Jennifer this fall. The Reeves clan lives in Tennessee, but both Scott and Melissa were able to travel to L.A. at the same time for their respective soap roles.

When GH fans last saw Steven, he had been arrested for murder just as he was ready to marry Olivia Falconeri. Olivia is now married to Ned Quartermaine, so might we see a triangle in their future? There are definitely some unresolved feelings Steven and Olivia will have to deal with.

Steven could also be there for his mother, Heather, who is determined to get out of prison so she can be a grandmother to Ace. Most of Port Charles is against Heather being free, so his presence could complicate things.

Don’t forget to watch new episodes of General Hospital each weekday on ABC and weeknight on Hulu.
