The Best and Worst of Days of our Lives for November 25-29

Days of our Lives brought the drama the week of November 25-29, 2024. Some moments were hits, some were misses, and Soap Talks has the rundown on what worked and what didn’t in Salem this past week.

Best of DAYS

Susan Seaforth Hayes broke our hearts when she had to say goodbye to Doug after saying goodbye to Bill Hayes earlier this year. We knew what she must have been going through, which made the moment all the more poignant.

When Jennifer whacked Cat across the face, it was absolutely glorious. Even when Cady McClain was still playing Jennifer and we knew she’d learn the truth one day, we couldn’t wait for this moment. Having Melissa Reeves deliver the blow was worth the wait.

It’s always good to see Kristian Alfonso as Hope Brady again even if it’s under the saddest of circumstances. Between Hope’s devastation and her memories of Doug through the years on our screen, the tears were flowing but in a good way.

Worst of DAYS

Lying Johnny is still the loser of the week. He has been walking around with a guilty look and a smile for more than a month and has Chanel believing nothing could go wrong. He will eventually blindside her and it won’t be pretty at all.

We admit it. The Brady Pub Thanksgiving was weird. Why was everyone on one side of the table? Who set this up and why were all these people together when they had their own homes?

Philip’s newfound anger makes no sense and teaming up with Vivian makes even less sense considering that he’s never liked the delusional woman. Perhaps if Philip made some sense, his return would be more compelling.

Don’t forget to watch new episodes of Days of our Lives on Peacock starting at 6 AM ET each weekday.
