GH Spoilers, August 23: Laura Fears For Lulu

General Hospital spoilers for Friday, August 23, 2024, offer heartache and frustration throughout Port Charles.

What To Do About Lulu

Knowing that Lulu’s liver is failing, Laura (Genie Francis) isn’t quite sure where to turn. She had hopes that her daughter would wake one day, but now all those hopes have been dashed in one fell swoop. The doctor is not sure there is anything they can do.

Laura confides in Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), who is shocked that Lulu may not make it. Liz didn’t always get along with her former sister-in-law but she did think that Lulu would one day come back to them. Does the topic of Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) enter the conversation? Shouldn’t he know what is going on with his sister?

Dante’s Dilemma

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is just as stunned as Laura and Elizabeth over the news about Lulu. Rocco had given him hope with his own wishes for his mother, but now Dante has to tell his son what is going on.

Dante doesn’t have the emotional strength to do that so he confides in Chase (Josh Swickard) and leans on his friend for emotional support. Does Chase have any good advice? Chase just suffered a loss but it was a different type of loss. Sam (Kelly Monaco) is also taken aback when Dante gives her the news.

Molly’s Promise

After the baby’s funeral, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) finally has the time to think about what she found in Alexis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house. Kristina (Kate Mansi) was really planning to sue for custody of the baby she was carrying for Molly and T.J. (Tajh Bellow). How could her sister do this? Was Alexis actually helping her?

When Molly makes a promise, does she vow to make Kristina pay for what happened when she fell out of Ava’s (Maura West) window?
