GH Spoilers, September 5: Alexis Totally Freaks Out

General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, September 5, 2024, promise more coverups in Port Charles as we might have a case of mistaken identity.

Alexis Needs Legal Help

Finding that gun in Kristina’s (Kate Mansi) purse sent shockwaves through Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Did her daughter really plan to kill Ava (Maura West)? Kristina seems to have a one-track mind and that’s making Ava pay for what Kristina thinks Ava did to her.

Hearing that John Cates (Adam Harrington) was murdered alarms Alexis even more. Did Kristina do it? And is Ava next? To that end, Alexis confers with Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) wondering how to fix this situation. Does Diane advise Alexis to calm down since they have no proof Kristina did anything illegal, much less kill a man?

Angst for Nina and Sonny

Nina (Cynthia Watros) can tell that Sonny (Maurice Benard) was hiding something when he came down those steps with Carly (Laura Wright). After learning John is dead, she wonders if Sonny killed him. She also wonders what was really going on with Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) after Drew’s campaign event in Rice Plaza and is determined to keep Drew and Willow away from one another.

As for Sonny, he is alarmed when he learns what’s been going on with Jason (Steve Burton) and Ava. Is there a loose thread he needs to tie up?

TJ’s Heartache

Ric (Rick Hearst) has been making his way around Port Charles quite nicely. After a date with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), Ric spends some time with his son-in-law (via domestic partnership).

TJ (Tajh Bellow) is still hurting and is glad to have Ric to talk to. Sometimes it’s easier to open up to someone you are still getting to know after a tragic loss.
