Will General Hospital’s Heather Webber Kill Again?

General Hospital’s Heather Webber is determined to not spend the rest of her life in Pentonville. Ric Lansing is now ready to be her lawyer and spring her on the cobalt defense. If he succeeds, will he be unleashing a monster?

For decades, Heather was known to have a few screws loose as she schemed her way through Port Charles. The character started as a woman who just wanted to marry well, but an LSD trip in the late 1970s turned her into someone else and that someone else remained for years.

Heather was locked away in a maximum-security prison until 2022 when she suddenly turned up at Spring Ridge and was revealed as Esme Prince’s mother with her father being none other than serial killer Ryan Chamberlain. By January of 2023, Heather was revealed as The Hook, a serial killer who murdered and tried to murder several Port Charles citizens with a poison hook.

After Heather was sentenced to Pentonville for her crimes, she was rushed to GH where she was found to be suffering from cobalt poisoning due to artificial hip surgery. Laura discovered that cobalt can make a person do some crazy things. Once Heather expressed regret for her killing ways after the cobalt was removed, Laura did her best to convince Heather to fight for her freedom. Scott Baldwin sweetened the pot by telling Heather they could sue the artificial hip manufacturer. Scott then gave the case to Ric and he is determined to win.

Is It All An Actor For Heather?

What if Heather has been faking her regrets this whole time and still feels justified in killing the way she did in 2022? Could a newly-freed Heather go on another murder spree throughout Port Charles using a different weapon of choice this time?

Rumor has it that Sam isn’t the only character set to be killed in the coming months. Could GH be trying to clean house by using Heather? After all, Heather has always been a Port Charles villainess so why should things change now?
