The Best and Worst of General Hospital for November 1-8

General Hospital brought the drama the week of November 1-8, 2024. Some moments were hits, some were misses, and Soap Talks has the rundown on what worked and what didn’t in Port Charles this past week.

Best of GH

Watching a mother’s grief is beyond painful, but watching Nancy Lee Grahn’s performance as Alexis struggled to come to terms with her daughter’s death was mesmerizing. We felt every emotion and wanted to just take Alexis in our arms and hug her.

Sometimes there’s nothing better than a delicious soap sex scandal and GH delivered one while proving Willow is the biggest hypocrite on soaps. The fallout from this is going to be magical.

Yes, it’s weird that Holly and Robert are Sasha’s parents, but at least it gives Sasha quite a storyline and brings out her feisty side. A little sex, a little grief, and a kidnapping made GH quite an interesting soapy ride this week.

Worst of GH

Drew is gross in so many ways. He is not the Drew we once knew when Billy Miller was in the role. Instead, he is a self-righteous, self-centered pig who doesn’t know how he is going to raise his own kid cause he’s never tried it before.

Drew also slept with his nephew’s wife while also in a sexual relationship with her mother. Can we just make him into the villain he is already and stop pretending he is not?

Carly, mind your own business. She has no storyline, no real purpose, and is just…everywhere. If Lucas was spending time with Brad and getting comfort, shut up Carly and let Lucas have what he needs.

Don’t forget to watch new episodes of General Hospital each weekday on ABC and weeknight on Hulu.
