General Hospital brought the drama the week of November 25-27, 2024. Some moments were hits, some were misses, and Soap Talks has the rundown on what worked and what didn’t in Port Charles this past week.
Best of GH
We like this Lulu and are trying to ignore how unserious her awakening is. The scenes with James were absolutely perfect and Gary James Fuller deserves his own special Daytime Emmy just for kids. However, the look on Rocco’s face when he saw his mother awake for the first time in four years just melted us.
Three cheers for Cyrus for reading Lucky for filth. Yes, we agree. Lucky has no room to talk about family when he’s never spent more than a few minutes with his won. The look on Elizabeth’s face when Cyrus told Lucky the truth about himself was priceless.
Ric Lansing needs to be in court ripping apart witnesses daily. We would even watch a spin-off. He was masterful as he got Kristina to unravel on the stand and admit a whole lot of truths to the jury and herself. Of course, Kristina still feels that she did nothing wrong.
Worst of GH
While we couldn’t take our eyes off Lulu and her emotional realization, we also couldn’t stop laughing at the seriousness of it all. This woman who had just been in a coma for four years gets up and walks right out of the hospital as if nothing had happened. She made it to the side of the road and all around town in record time after just having a liver transplant. Ok, sure.
Where is the Molly from just a few weeks ago who was still furious at Kristina for going to Ava’s room that fateful day AND plotting to take her child from her when the child was born? She was the only one who would tell Kristina the truth about herself and now she has been replaced by just one more person coddling delusional Kristina.
Brook Lynn and Chase are boring. We said it. Why do they have love scenes with Brook Lynn wearing three layers of clothing as they try to make a baby? How does that even work? We also know what’s coming. Gio is her son and likely her son with Dante. What a surprise!
Don’t forget to watch new episodes of General Hospital each weekday on ABC and weeknight on Hulu.
